I recently had the privilege of being interviewed by The FWA. They’ve been a huge inspiration in the design community for well over a decade and are still going strong. Many people that I looked up to have been interviewed by them as well so to be included on the list is pretty awesome.
Shutterstock recently posted an article on 4 Things Recruiters Look for in Design Portfolio. I’m honored to have my site mentioned in this article. I’m constantly tweaking my portfolio to make sure it stays relevant and presented in the best way possible so I’m glad it’s paying off.
For anyone looking to spruce up their portfolio or gain more work leads, this is a good read.
Sorry for the lack of posting lately, I was in the middle of wrapping up a couple of things. One is a personal project that I recently launched called NY Train Project. The site is shows an illustrated version of every subway station sign in Manhattan, viewable by train line.
Since the launch last week, I’ve been overwhelmed by the amount of support and appreciation the site received. I’ve been fortunate enough to get write-ups in PSFK, Gizmodo , Fast Company , Creative Bloq, Daily Mail , It’s Nice That , Gothamist and Design Taxi along with others.
Recently I had the opportunity to work with some old friends at Red Paper Heart on a fun little project for Audi. Inspired by Lenticular tiles, the site works by revealing content from your webcam capturing your head movement or by tiling your phone if your viewing from a mobile device. Leaning or tilting right and left will reveal different types of content.
I’ll post a more in-depth look and photos on my site when I get a chance but for now feel free to check out Audi CES.
