I created Textio's first post-login landing dashboard, designed to drive user adoption by helping new and returning users quickly understand the product and take meaningful first actions.
For years, signing into Textio dropped users directly into a new job post. Customer research showed that this assumed users already understood what Textio was and how to use it, creating confusion for new and existing customers.
Users weren't always aware of the tools available to them, including the ability to use Textio outside the core product through the browser extension.
Working with a cross-functional team, we looked at where users were getting stuck or abandoning the experience. Customer interviews and feedback helped identify gaps in product awareness, onboarding, and extension adoption.
I introduced a new post-login hub that gave users a clearer starting point and connected them to the broader Textio experience. It introduced key tools, surfaced relevant content, and made the extension easier to discover and install.
Textio Enterprise Team
I initially proposed a more robust solution for helping admins guide their teams, but it was too heavy a lift for the first release. Rather than drop the idea, I simplified it into a lightweight messaging feature that could ship sooner.
The first version gave us a way to validate the concept, gather feedback and data, and use those learnings to shape a more complete solution later.
